Arlecchino

Arlecchino is the second major servant, but differs from Zanni in that he has more wit. He is still not smart by any means as he is still a servant, but he understands things. His character might have spent more time in the city, or perhaps he immigrated from a better area, so he understands that presentation is very important. While his clothes are worn, just like Zanni, he patches any holes that he may have, which is where his traditional dress of a multicolored outfit originates from.
He is a fast moving individual. He is always trying to please the masters, so he is very jumpy and youthful. while he may seem eager to please, in the end, he often asks Zanni or other servants to help him as he does not want to put in the energy.
The Arlecchino mask has a rounded nose and cheeks, usually with a small forehead and a mole or wart on the forehead.
I'm not sure exactly what I would like my modern rendition to Arlecchino to be, but I imagine that I would need someone to be young enough that the enthusiasm would be implied, but without necessarily the will to get things finished. I also don't want him to be a techie, because he's not so well off, and I want there to be a focus on physical labor. We'll see, but I still need to collect ideas for what exactly I want to see.
