Participants have 24-hour access to CPW’s workspace facilities as well as CPW’s professional resources. WOODSTOCK A-I-R is open to artists of color working in photography and related media who currently reside in the United States. Individuals who will be students in the fall of 2016 and past participants may not apply. Residents have no obligations or duties during their residency. Their time is their own to use how they best see fit. Artists-in-residence are invited to share their work in a public lecture (additional stipend is provided for artists who give a public lecture). Residents are required to contribute a finished work, as selected by the artist and CPW director to CPW’s Permanent Print Collection, which is on extended loan to the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art at SUNY New Paltz.
