Blog post from Last Week: Geode is starting to crack a little bit more

So I got overwhelmed last week(chem exams suck) so here is the blog post I would have written last week. I had a major breakthrough when it came to figuring out what I have been trying to say two weeks ago and I have started to narrow it down. I realized that my thesis for my Environmental Studies Thesis is an integral part of my art:

My current hypothesis for my paper is that:

People are likely to respond to an accurate visual representation that accurately describes the issues on hand. If something is able to be put into a visual representation then ones understanding will be more comprehensive.

More on this in the next blog post.

But something interesting that I did last Thursday was going to the MAG’s Museum of the Dead. It was really interesting to see the amount of people at the MAG as it was the crowded I have ever seen it. It is interesting to see how the MAG is trying to get more people to interact with the gallery. What I found the most interesting was they had six people within the gallery giving mini artists talk about the different pieces in the gallery. I found this to be a great way to get people to engage more with art they might have walked passed before

All in all it was a great event and I am glad I went.
